We can start trekking to the Annapurna Base camp trek by driving to Nayapul from Pokhara or from Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a beautiful Gurung village where you can see the view of Mt. Annapurna Himal ranges and Fishtail. The trekking starts hiking from Ghandruk to Chumrong. Trekking Itinerary:
Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Trail Attractions: Trisuli River, Malekhu Village, Mugling Village, Marshyandi River, Pokhara City. Driving: 6/7 hours. Max Altitude: 1300 m (Kathmandu). Overnight: Hotel.
Day 02: Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Ghandruk.
Trail Attractions: Rhododendron, Oak, and Dense Forest, Various Birds, Gurung Village, beginning views of Annapurna South, Hiun Chuli, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Fishtail. Driving: 1 hours. Walking: 5/6 hours. Max Altitude: 1940 m (Ghandruk). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 03: Trek to Chhomrong.
Trail Attractions: Kimrung Danda, Kimrong Khola, Chere Danda, and Annapurna Massif. Walking: 5/6 hours. Max Altitude: 2170 m (Chhomrong). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 04: Trek to Bamboo.
Trail Attractions: Stone Steps, bridge at Chhomrong Khola, Sinuwa Village, Rhododendron Forest. Walking: 4/5 hours. Max Altitude: 2310 m (Bamboo). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 05: Trek to Deurali.
Trail Attractions: Bamboo Forest, Rhododendron and Oak Trees, Dobhan Village. Walking: 4/5 hours. Max Altitude: 3200 m (Deurali). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 06: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
Trail Attractions: Alpine Forest, Annapurna Base Camp, panoramic views of Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m), Machhapuchhare (Mt. Fish Tail in English, 6,997 m), Mount Hiun Chuli (6,434 m), Annapurna South (7,219 m), and Ganggapurna (7,454 m). Walking: 5/6 hours. Max Altitude: 4130 m (Annapurna Base Camp). Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 07: Trek back to Bamboo.
Trail Attractions: Sunrise Views over the Annapurna Massif. Walking: 7/8 hours. Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 08: Trek back to Jhinu Danda.
Trail Attractions: Hot Water Springs. Driving: 6/7 hours. Overnight: Teahouse/Lodge.
Day 09: Trek back to Nayapul & drive back to Pokhara.
Walking: 5/6 hours. Driving: 1 hour. Overnight: Hotel.
Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu.
